I already own the FOREO LUNA mini 2 in Pearl Pink and use it regularly. I’ve been putting the LUNA mini 3 to the test to give you the lo-down on what the new facial cleansing massager has to offer.
First Impressions
The LUNA mini 3 by FOREO comes well packaged and includes:

I chose the LUNA mini 3 in the colour Mint. The design is very attractive and the sonic cleansing device is the perfect size to pop into your bag when you are on the go. You could easily take this device to the gym, on holiday or for weekends away. It fits perfectly in the palm of my hand and the silicone texture is super soft to touch.
App Technology
When you first open your LUNA mini 3 you will need to download the FOREO For You app which can be easily found in the app store. You will then need to sync your cleansing device with the app which can be done in 5 simple steps.
- Register your new accounts details
- Enter the verification code that has been emailed to you
- Turn on your Bluetooth and GPS
- Select the device you want to sync with
- Hold down the button on your LUNA mini 3 for 5 seconds to sync with your app
That’s it! Your new LUNA mini 3 and the FOREO For You app will now work together, and the cool thing is that you don’t have to use it all the time with the app. App saves your last features and you can just use your LUNA mini 3 without it if you want to save a time.
Within the main app screen you can set your device to cleanse or ‘GLOW BOOST’ mode whilst also setting the intensity. The app will use a timer to let you know when you have cleansed your skin for the optimal amount of time. The app also includes a Find my LUNA feature as well as customer support and mirror mode for use on the go.
Using your LUNA mini 3
The LUNA mini 3 is super easy to use. First connect your cleansing device to the FOREO for You app via bluetooth. Then select your chosen cleanser. I’ve been using the FOREO Micro-Foam Cleanser which helps to gently remove impurities in the skin. Then hit the start button on your FOREO for You app and move your LUNA mini 3 over your skin in circular motions. Start on your forehead and move downwards. The timer will turn your device off after 60 seconds. Then pat your skin dry and continue with the next steps of your skincare routine.
LUNA mini 3 Review
‘ve been using the LUNA mini 3 for a while now and here’s what I think of it.
When I first started using the device I set the pulsations to a low intensity and have gradually built them up over time. I now use the cleansing device on the intensity setting 7 which is strong enough for me to ensure a thorough cleanse of my skin.
I love the glow boost function that you can set by pressing the power button twice. I normally use this setting 2 or 3 times a week to perk my skin up a bit more or when I’m in a rush . This is perfect for those that need a quick cleanse and boost to their skin.
I’ve popped the LUNA mini 3 into my handbag on a few occasions now for use on the go. After a spa and gym day last week it was great to fully cleanse my skin and remove the oils and impurities that had built up over the day. It really is the perfect size for just popping into your bag.
My skin definitely feels smoother and cleaner since using the LUNA mini 3. I love that you can feel the silicone bristles working into the skin so you know that you are getting a deep cleanse.
I’m definitely going to carry on using the LUNA mini 3 by FOREO as part of my beauty routine. I’ll also be making sure I take it with me whenever I am heading out to the gym or for weekends away so I can keep on top of my skincare routine.

A terrific little gadget. The early skin cleansing brushes were a bit clumpy and too large to store in small bathroom cabinets but this Foreo looks fab.
